A Loveland crew that started in the dirt
Connor Kuchik started this company in 2015 as Kuchik Tree & Landscaping. Over the years the work kept moving toward excavation, grading, and site prep, and from there into concrete. Today we’re Cincinnati Site Solutions, LLC, working out of Loveland on State Route 48, and concrete is what we do all day, every day.
Starting in the dirt taught us the thing most people never hear about concrete: almost anybody can pour it. Whether a driveway still looks good twenty years from now or starts cracking and sinking after a couple of winters gets decided before the truck ever shows up. Soft soil gets dug out. Stone base gets compacted. Water gets a place to go. Then we pour.
Cincinnati is a big city that acts like a small town. Everybody knows somebody, and word about a bad concrete job gets around every cookout from Mason to Mariemont. Most of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers, and we’d like to keep it that way. If you hire us, we are extremely confident that you will refer us to your family and friends.

What Cincinnati weather and soil do to concrete
Concrete around here has a rough life. If you’ve ever watched a neighbor’s driveway sink, flake, or split down the middle, one of these four things was usually behind it. We build every job to handle all four.
Freeze, thaw, repeat
Our winters don’t stay frozen. Temperatures swing above and below freezing over and over, and every time water inside concrete freezes, it expands. We pour an air-entrained exterior mix made to take that kind of punishment, and we finish it so the surface stays tight.
Road salt
Between the salt trucks and the slush that drips off your car, a lot of salt ends up on your driveway every winter. Good finishing, proper curing, and a sealer once the slab has cured keep salt from flaking the surface away.
Clay and hills
A lot of Greater Cincinnati sits on heavy clay that swells when it’s wet and shrinks when it’s dry, and plenty of us live on a hillside. We dig out soft and organic soil, bring in compacted stone base, and set the grade so the slab has solid support from edge to edge.
Water with nowhere to go
Standing water is the enemy of every slab. Every pour gets planned slope that sends water away from your house and garage, and when a site needs more than slope, we handle drainage and storm sewer work too.
Then come the details that separate good concrete from the rest: control joints cut at the right spacing so cracks land where they belong, reinforcement where the load calls for it, and structural slabs poured at 4,500 psi.
Residential concrete services
Most of our residential work is replacement. We tear out the old cracked, sunken, or flaking concrete, haul it away, fix whatever caused the problem underneath, and pour it new. When we leave, the yard around the job gets put back the way we found it.

-
Cleanup and curing
We clean up, fix the yard around the pour, and tell you exactly when you can walk on it and when you can drive on it.
Repair or replace? We’ll tell you straight.
Not every crack means you need new concrete. Hairline cracks and light surface wear can often be repaired, resurfaced, or sealed for a lot less money. Replacement usually makes more sense when you’re seeing:
- Sections that have sunk or heaved and turned into trip hazards
- Wide cracks that get a little wider every year
- Water pooling toward your house, garage, or basement walls
- Flaking and pitting across large areas, usually from salt
- A slab that’s broken into several separate pieces
If a repair will buy you more good years, we’ll say so. Learn more about concrete repairs, or read what it really costs to hire the wrong concrete contractor.

Concrete questions we hear all the time
How much does a new concrete driveway cost in Cincinnati?
It depends on the size of the driveway, how much old concrete has to come out, the condition of the soil underneath, how easy it is to get a truck in, and the finish you pick. A broom finish costs less than exposed aggregate or stamped concrete. The honest answer is a written quote after we see your site, and we’ll come out and give you one for free.
How long does it take to replace a concrete driveway?
Most driveway replacements take about one to two weeks from start to finish, counting tear-out, base prep, the pour, and curing time. The pour itself usually happens in a single day.
When can I walk and drive on new concrete?
Foot traffic is usually fine after a day or two. Give a new driveway at least seven days before you park on it, and longer before heavy trucks go on it. We’ll give you exact timing for your job before we leave.
Do you handle permits and utility marking?
Yes. We contact Ohio 811 to get underground utilities marked before we dig, and we take care of permits, inspections, and communication with your city, village, or township.
Is concrete or asphalt better for a driveway in Cincinnati?
For most homes we recommend concrete. It lasts longer, it doesn’t need resealing every couple of years the way asphalt does, it stays cooler in the summer, and you get more finish options. Asphalt costs less up front and can make sense for a long rural drive. We’ll talk through both with you.
Why does new concrete crack?
Concrete shrinks a little as it cures, so some cracking is normal. That’s what control joints are for. We cut them at the right spacing so the concrete cracks in a straight line inside the joint instead of wandering across your slab. Solid base prep and good drainage take care of most of the rest.
Can you pour concrete in the winter?
Spring through fall is the best time to pour around here, and that’s when most of our work happens. In colder months we watch the forecast closely and only pour when we can protect the concrete while it cures.
Do you do commercial concrete work?
Yes. We build parking lots, loading docks and ramps, ADA compliant ramps, footers, walls, slabs, stairs, curbs, sidewalks, and storm sewers for property owners, builders, and general contractors, including ground-up and design-build projects.
Are you insured?
Yes. Cincinnati Site Solutions carries general liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance. We’re happy to send a certificate of insurance before the job starts.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Greater Cincinnati, including Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, and Butler counties. That covers Cincinnati, Loveland, Mason, Montgomery, Madeira, Indian Hill, Blue Ash, Hyde Park, Goshen, Lebanon, and the communities around them.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and credit cards.
